Trevor Cox is blogging

One of my friends here at NewSpring just started a new blog.  Trevor Cox has a lot of great insights.  Because my office is right next to his, I get the honor of hearing his thoughts regularly.  Now you can get the benefit from his insight too, by reading his blog.

God’s Enemies

If you have not read Sydney Olin’s blog yet…you should! Sydney is one of the best friends that Suzanne and I have and we consider her as a part of our family. She is not only a great friend, she is also someone who listens to God’s voice, and someone that God is giving an amazing amount of wisdom and perspective.

I was blown away by this post that she wrote on loving enemies. I hope that as believers, we always remember that we were once God’s enemies and deserved his wrath. But because of His choice to love us first and radically save us, we have the privilege of being a part of God’s family. God may we never forget the magnitude of your grace and favor that we don’t deserve. Thanks for the perspective Syd!

God is doing something cool in Wilmington

One of the things I love about my job is getting to connect with Pastors at other churches that have a passion for ministering to people. Today I got to hang out with Jeff, Daryl, and Kevin from LifePoint Church in Wilmington, NC. Jeff and Daryl both have great blogs, and I was excited about getting to meet with them today.

I attached their blogs above so you can check out what God is doing in their lives and in their Church. These guys are great leaders, they have a passion to learn, and they asked me some great questions that really made me think today.

God is doing something cool in Wilmington. If you are looking for a church in the Wilmington area, this is the one you need to be at! God has placed some great leaders in place there that love Him and have a heart to minister to the people in their community.

They talked me into it

Today is Tuesday July 24, 2007. My friends Ken Wilson and Joe Sangl have finally persuaded me to start blogging my thoughts on Marriage, preparing for Marriage, care ministry, and all the questions I answer regularly as a part of my job at NewSpring. This should be fun!
